A very warm welcome from this fanzine to new manager, Gus Poyet. It certainly makes a nice change to see more than the Argus sportsdesk at an Albion press conference to reveal a new manager. If Poyet has any sense then we can look forward to seeing all centre backs replaced at the club come January. This picture is a crowd shot from River Plate, where a youthful Poyet spent the early part of his career and surely the reason he has joined the Albion (we both have running tracks). The South American passion is displayed like this at the withers most weekends so Poyet must be relishing the cup replay next Tuesday - don't forget your fireworks.11 November 2009
