I know us here down at TSLR HQ are in effect on holiday until July but I went to see these guys, The Hot 8 Brass Band, down at Scala in London last night and they fucking rocked. I would recommend them to you all - www.tru-thoughts.co.uk/artists/hot-8-brass-band - and if that don't appease you then there's this search engine on the interweb called Google that you can search for them on. As you might be able to tell from the link, they're signed to Tru Thoughts who, I've been led to believe, are a Brighton based label and also have The Quantic Soul Orchestra on their books.
The Albion have signed some players too but you can read about that, and other unfounded speculation, at the Argus or, if yer after ridiculous rumour, you know where North Stand Chat is...
