Evening all, I've been meaning to blog about this since pretty much the end of last season but didn't get round to it. Now, with all these spare non-World Cup days, it seemed like the only sensible thing to do. It shows the Atletico Bilbao side taking on 100 children in a charity match. It was in aid of their former striker, Joseba Etxeberria, who announced he was leaving the Basque club after 15 years of service. He even let the childish opposition field three keepers but the eleven man side still went on to take all three points. Absolutely blinding.
On a separate note, the Albion have signed Ashley Barnes permanently which should be a decent replacement for Nicky Forster (well he was at the end of last season anyway) but only the new season will we be able tell for sure.
And if you're bored, TSLR contributor Marco van Bastard turned us on to this blog that is written by an Albion fan and quite good. You can access it by the hyperlink here or follow the link that you'll find on our favourite links part of this blog on the left hand side. Talking of which, TSLR got name checked on another one of our favourite links - We Are Brighton - and you can check it out here. This not only mentions an aspect of our mag being 'brilliant' but actually takes it one step further with a fantastic spot of a piece of 'eBay crap' that questions the very decency of the human race itself. Don't worry guys, it's not plagiarism, it's flattery. And flattered we are.
i love that clip - so many players!! every young kids dream to play with the professionals.
