BRIGHTON ROCKS

Sorry for the Daily Star like headline but, if you're one of the lucky souls who purchased TSLR027 on Saturday and then watched us stroll past Hartlepool, you know it makes sense. In the latest issue, we carry a picture of Brighton Rock actor John Hurt reading TSLR026 at the Premiere of the Graham Greene inspired remake at the Duke of Yorks a few weeks back. Last night, TSLR saw the film and thought it pretty good. But, obviously, compared to watching the Albion at the moment, it felt as if two hours watching a Gus Poyet side is probably better value for money.

Talking of value for money, Betting Latest is reporting that you can still get odds on the Albion of 10/11 to win the title whereas Ladbrokes are offering 1/1. Either way, we're still firm favourites. Ladbrokes are offering 150/1 on us winning the FA Cup so if you fancy a flutter, 50 of your English pence each way on the League and Cup double sounds like the bet for us. Of course, we've only ever made it to the quarter finals on three occasions (further information from TSLR027) in our history so chances are we'll be beaten at Stoke but we can still dream. And I promise I'll stop talking about winning the title until it's a mathematical certainty.

Don't forget, your mission for the week is to raid paper shredders the world over for FA Cup confetti purposes.
