In a week when a number of football clubs took the bizarre decision to ban local newspapers from their press conferences and media areas, the Albion continued their encouraging trend of engaging with supporters – with Tony Bloom visiting a fans group for a question and answer session.
Bloom met with around 60 members of North West Sussex Seagulls and spoke candidly on a range of issues – from Gus Poyet’s controversial departure to the well-documented restrictions of Financial Fair Play, from his long-term plans for the club to whether promotion is still expected this season. He even listened to gripes about the volume of the in-stadium public address system and the problem of picking out names and numbers on the Albion’s current home kit.
