GOLDEN BROWN

Wowzers, what a game on Saturday. What a party on Saturday. TSLR has had a reasonable season after all, despite our negative rhetoric throughout the last 2 issues of the campaign. We only just surfaced from the celebrations yesterday afternoon to find out that the Albion only turned up in Prime Minister's Questions:

"Labour backbencher Celia Barlow (Hove) referred to the success of BHAFC, and noted that there was to be construction at the new stadium. She said that this would provide jobs and 66 apprentices. Responding, PM Gordon Brown said that Brighton had delivered 4,000 skills for life places and said that the Government would continue to support football clubs that were at the centre of their communities."

Indeed, just don't mention the fact that once construction is finished, the only jobs will be those serving beers and burgers once every 2 weeks. The Albion alone will sort this recession!

Did we mention we stayed up?
