The big Albion news this week is that we have signed Lee Hendrie on loan from Derby until the end of the season. Now this is exciting for a few reasons. Firstly, he played for England...once. Secondly, he is a player you may well have actually heard of (although hearing about Paul (un)Fitson and Jason Dudd never did us any good) and, thirdly, he seemed to develop a little England team love affair with Dion Dublin as pictured.
This is one of three pictures where the pair look very much in love, the rest can be found here. Hendrie is a little older these days and, dare say, a little wiser - so much so that he'll probably avoid photees being taken like this one in the super hetrosexual world of modern football.

The former top flight footballer has a classic daft quote to his name as well: "I took a whack on my left ankle, but something told me it was my right." Still, like Dion Dublin, we'll be giving him some serious Seagull Love at the withers on Saturday.
