I was wondering what the club and Errea have decided is our 'blue'.

Generally, in important matters like these, the designer would use a Pantone reference number so everybody knows exactly what is going on from client to printer.

I couldn't find an exact number, but I think we're probably Pantone 004-BAE.

It's a lovely colour, Royal Blue, and when seen in it's true Pantone form, it's beautifully deep and rich.

So what exactly does blue represent?  Well, I went Googling and found this;

"Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.

Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and body. It slows human metabolism and produces a calming effect. Blue is strongly associated with tranquility and calmness. In heraldry, blue is used to symbolize piety and sincerity."

Hmmmm ... some of those terms don't particularly remind me of watching the Albion, but I do feel we're very much a blue team as opposed to a wrash and aggressive red team.

Fans of Royal Blue can buy a delightful mug showcasing our proud cloth in it's true Pantone form.
