BEES, SHES AND COMMON ASSUALT

Just a quick post - don't forget the longer one below, but this needs to be said - about a trip to Brentford many moons ago when myself and co-editor were probably about 11 or 12 years old.

My Co-editors mum, who had driven us to the game, took offence to something said by a male fan in our vicinity.  I don't know what was said, perhaps it was the sort of moaning we hear today, but such was the tone that said mother promptly hit the unruly Albion fan in the face.

I thought that story apt on International Womens Day and an away fixture at Griffin Park.

And if you were wondering, yes, we lost the game 2-1, Chapman opened the scoring for Albion before we so predcictably capitulated.
